Several clips, one video
Drop two or more videos — MP4, MOV, WebM, MKV, from a phone, a camera or a screen recording — put them in order with the arrows and join. The result is an MP4 that plays anywhere: messaging apps, TVs, editors. Useful for the parts of a party filmed separately, the takes of a presentation or the several recordings of one lesson.
Different sizes, never stretched
Clips from different devices rarely match: one is vertical and another wide, one is 4K and another 720p, one has sound and another none. Each clip is fitted into one frame with its shape kept, with bars where there is room to spare, and brought to the same frame rate and sound. A silent clip gets silence of its own length, so the picture and sound of the clips after it stay where they belong.
When every clip comes from the same phone or camera, with the same size and format, they are joined without re-encoding: seconds, nothing lost. To trim the ends first, use trim video; to make the result small enough to send, compress video takes it next.

The join is done by ffmpeg running in this tab. The engine is downloaded from this site once and kept, and the videos never leave your device — the limit is its memory, so on a phone it is worth joining a long set in parts.
Frequently asked questions
Can I join clips of different sizes and formats?
Yes. A vertical phone clip, a wide camera clip and a WebM from a screen recorder can go in the same video. Each is fitted into one frame with its shape kept — bars at the sides or top rather than stretching — and brought to the same frame rate and sound before joining.
Why did some merges take seconds and others minutes?
Clips from the same phone or camera share size and format, and those are joined as they are, with nothing decoded or lost. Anything that differs has to be re-encoded into a common format, which on your own processor takes roughly as long as the clips play.
How do I change the order?
Use the arrows beside each file in the list. The clips are joined top to bottom, and the preview shows whichever one is selected, so you can check the order before you start.
What happens to a clip with no sound?
It gets silence of its own length. Leaving the gap out would make every clip after it play its sound before its picture, so the tool fills it and the whole video stays in sync.
Are the videos uploaded?
